Mumbai : A mesmerizing production of SAPTA SINDHU was premiered on the 15-06-2024 at the Swatantrya Veersavarkar auditorium Shivaji Park, Dadar, Mumbai.
Both the institution Arunodaya Kala Niketan and Vaishnovi Kala Kshetra had merged together in bringing up this great show, the hours of rehearsal, costumes, light design had brought the show with a standing ovation. The inauguration was done by Hon’ble Ms Renu Prithiani (ICCR Zonal Director Mumbai), Dr. Guru Meenakshi Shriyan & Guru Asha Nambiar.
Arunodaya Kala Niketan which stepped its 65th year had awarded 3 luminaries with the Suvarna Bharat Ratna Award 2024 remembering founder Guru Vidwan Late M.N. Suvarna ji. The ceremony opened up with the traditional rice mudi (Kanni Pooja) with the Chief Guest Hon’ble Ms. Renu Prithiani, Sanjeev Salian, Gopal Puthran, Bela Shah, Pushpa Avarsekar, Pt. Vishnudas Nedumpillil, Pt. G. Ramprasad, Ritajaya Banerjee, Guru Asha Nambiar and Dr. Guru Meenakshi Shriyan.
The awards were given in 3 categories – which stand for Bhava, Raga and Taal. The institution thanked the sponsor for food Shri Chandra Shekhar with a traditional ceremony. The institution is invited on 13th of October to present their new production “Sapta Sindhu” at the divine Sanctum of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at Bangalore.
